Each Wednesday evening we meet in three small groups in our homes. (the first
Wednesday of the month we meet together in the church building)
We study the bible together and have a time of discussion. Sometimes we watch a
bible teaching DVD and talk about it afterwards. There is opportunity to pray and ask
for prayer and to just enjoy being together as we learn how to be more like Jesus.
These groups are for adults and take place from 7.30pm-9pm (approx.)
Our groups usually begin or end with a cup of tea or coffee.

The ladies meet on the 3RD Monday of each Month. There is a varied program with speakers and
social activities that have included a Bake Off, Beetle Drive and 10 Pin Bowling. Visits have been
made to other Ladies events in the area.
MISSION PRAYER MEETING
A Mission Prayer Meeting is held at 7.30pm on the 1st Wednesday of each month at the church. Five
areas of work in the world are focused on and prayed for to support our brothers and sisters in
Stephen Gaukroger and work with Clarion Trust,
Mim Friday and work in Uganda with Viva
Howard and Janet Jones’ work
A B and work in Benidorm
Mission trips by the Minister and other church members.
Peacemakers on a Tuesday evening from 6pm – 7.15pm provides a safe
environment for 11-14 yrs olds from our community to meet together
and have fun with their friends.
Some simply want to “chill out”. Others take part in activities which
include pool, table tennis, crafts, preparing food, tuck! The leaders
endeavor to share the love of Jesus by listening, not judging, and
sharing how we believe God’s word is relevant to their young lives
today. We ask that a consent form is signed as important to have
contact details in case of emergency.
This group meets on Thursday nights from 5pm – 6.15pm. It is for children aged 5-11. We provide a
safe environment for children to learn more about God through songs, Bible stories, crafts, quizzes and
games. The children also work together in groups and teams and develop strong friendships with their
peers. We also provide a hot meal for them weekly. There is no charge for this club, but a parental consent form must be completed.
Treasure Seekers is for all children age 3 to 11 years. Come and be a
Treasure Seeker. Come and get to know Jesus from the Bible. We meet on
Sundays at 10.30am. We spend a short time in Church and then go to dig for
Treasure. We may use crafts, games, acting, stories, reading the Bible and
other ways to find our Treasure, but our Treasure is always found in the
Bible. We have a drink at some time during the morning. Come and dig for
Treasure and get to know Jesus.
Creche is available each Sunday morning for children 0-3 years of age. A rota is arranged so the
team of helpers are needed once every 5 or 6 weeks.
TUESDAY FRIENDS CLUB
The Tuesday Friends Club is a luncheon club that is open to anyone that has time to spare to join
together for a light lunch and a chat (although not really aimed at those with young children).
We meet each Tuesday during school term times at about 11.50am for lunch at 12noon.
We provide soup, a selection of two varieties of sandwiches and a homemade cake or dessert with
tea and coffee to follow, all for a nominal fee, (currently £3). We can cope with most special diets if
given advance warning. During the winter months we supplement this fare with some hot items e.g.
